About Me

Hi, it's me, Jack Leitch. I am a Machine Learning Engineer and Software Engineer with experience deploying and maintaining scalable, flexible systems for core ML services used 1000s of times a day. I have particular interests NLP, statistical learning, and building products.

I am ambitious to continuously develop in ML and software development, and apply this knowledge to a vast range of fields.

Experience

I currently work at an AI healthcare startup where I designed and implemented architecture, supporting thousands of API calls daily, to automate prior authorizations reducing decision time by an average of 10 days. I have also worked at a tech startup where I built an end-to-end license plate recognition system using Tensorflow. You can find some of my projects on my Github page.
